Reading Challenge is a school program which encourages students to find a passion for reading. Students are required to read 20 minutes each day as part of their homework. The goal for your child is to read 60 books/chunks independently this year. A chunk consists of 50 pages from a chapter book. Every chunk completed counts as 1 book. Students may also read picture books. Each picture book counts as 1 book.
Once our child finishes reading a book, he/she will record the book read in the E-Reading Log which is located online, then choose and complete the appropriate book report. For more details, please click your child’s grade level button below.
