Our Afterschool Time Consists of:
- A nutritious snack
- Additional enrichment lessons in activities that are mainly rooted in sciences and social sciences.
- Hands-on labs or observation labs that allow the children to interact with learning objectives previously explored through lessons and activities.
- Focus on teamwork, with weekly team-challenges incorporated to encourage growth in interpersonal communication and sportsmanship
- Homework help for all grade levels
- Self-guided STEM-focused learning tools and stations available in the classroom for exploratory learning.
- Accessible art station with basic supplies and recycled materials. More items can be used with teacher permission and supervision.
- Creative building materials for imaginative play
- Dramatic play station in classroom with kitchen and accessories
- Classroom library with a diverse collection of English and Japanese books with multiple reading levels.
- Additional recess time for physical activity and health.
