Enrollment & Lottery Policy
Overview
International Charter Academy of Georgia (ICAGeorgia) is a statewide, tuition-free public charter school.
We welcome all Georgia residents regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, or disability.
Students are selected through a random electronic lottery managed by Lotterease.

Lottery & Admission Priority
Priority is given to:
- Siblings* of students admitted at ICAGeorgia.
- Children of full-time or part-time (at least 20 hours weekly) teachers and staff at ICAGeorgia.
- Children of the founding ICAGeorgia Board
*Siblings are defined as follows:
- Biological (including half sibling) /adoptive sibling
- Step sibling residing in the same household
- Foster children residing in the same household
All other applicants are entered into the public lottery for equal consideration. Lottery results are posted online, and accepted families will receive notification by email.
Enrollment After Acceptance
Families who receive an offer will get an invitation link from our Admissions department to complete ICAGeorgia’s online registration process.
If enrollment documents are not uploaded to the online application by the deadline, the student’s seat may be offered to the next applicant on the waitlist.
Required Enrollment Documents
All accepted families must upload the following during the registration process:
- Birth Certificate or valid Passport
- Georgia Immunization Form (Form 3231)
- Hearing, Vision & Dental Form (Form 3300)
- Social Security Card or Waiver Form
- Proof of Parent/Guardian Photo ID
- Two (2) Proofs of Georgia Residency (lease/mortgage, utility bill, etc.)
- Most recent Report Card or Transcript (Grades 1–8)
- Special Education, Gifted, or 504 documentation, if applicable
- Home Language Survey & Parent Occupational Survey
Waitlist & Late Applications
- Applicants not selected are placed on a waitlist in the order drawn.
- Late applications are added after the lottery in the order received.
- Waitlists do not carry over each school year; families must reapply annually.
Returning Students
Currently enrolled students receive re-enrollment priority before new applicants each year.
